I had a few minutes before work, so I thought I would wish everyone a great day. I am anticipating the holiday weekend - Thursday we are meeting some friends from Cleveland and Philadelphia in Erie, Pennsylvania. We're planning on dining at Sarah's Restauarant, which is a neat diner at the entrance to Presque State Park. Preque Isle is on the shores of Lake Erie. We plan on hitting the beach Friday morning to search for beach glass. Check out this link for some of the beautiful jewelry that Erie artists make from their findings!
Friday afternoon we will be heading to Fredonia, New York to pick cherries! This will be our first year picking straight from the trees, so it should be a fun day. I have already promised my sister a cherry pie next week.
We will then head home for the annual Fourth of July Celebration in our hometown of Warren, Pennsylvania. We start off the day with a parade and end it at Betts Park with a huge fireworks display!
