What I did this weekend...

I am damn tired. We have once again purchased another house (#4), and the others houses are not finished. Almost, but no cigar. This house is special though, since my Grandma will be moving into it at the end of the month. As I was painting this weekend, I even felt like it was home.

Other than that, I picked up these great buys at garage sales this weekend:

There is a pile of curtains that I will be altering for Grandma's new house, a frame with a dragonfly hook, and a cute little wooden bird. There is also a huge glass hurricane, which I am planning on using for within my Fall and Halloween decorations. I have been collecting this kind of glass since I saw it in the summer Pottery Barn catalogs. They have such great merchandising and creative ideas, but I am thrifty. Even if I could afford to buy regular price, I most likely would not....so I incorporate their ideas into the great stuff I can re-purpose. My favorite item of the weekend is the vintage Christmas tea towel. So cute!
