You will notice

that I have not been posting as regularly as I promised. I have undertaken yet another educational endeavor, this one being online classes. I had a hard time with this decision since it is very easy to get involved with learning institutions that end up sending you a "pseudo" degree while taking your tuition money. I eventually settled on Penn State World Wide, which offered a degree that I was interested in and would benefit me in the future. That being said, let me say that these classes are harder than hell. Do not take the idea of going to class in your pajamas from your living room lightly. It's hard.

So while I am listening and watching my Art History lecture on one computer, I just happened to be jumping around Ravely on another computer. One click led to another, and suddenly I was perusing Etsy. For those of you not familiar with Etsy, it is a marketplace for handmade wares, and is truly an artistic dream. Etsy's mission statement is: "Our mission is to enable people to make a living making things, and to reconnect makers with buyers." How much can you possibly love that?!

I came across this post, and I think it is awesome. With everyone trying too replace light bulbs with more energy efficient choices, I thought this was a great idea for the old ones. It is from the Hipster Home and is called "A tiny terrarium in a light bulb."

Love it! And can't wait to try it. Right after I finish this Art History video...
