Pickin'

We love the show American Pickers. We watch it every week, and every week I find myself wishing I were on the open road scouting for sweet stuff. But alas, I am not. In addition to an awesome episode this week, there were several postings on JunkMarketStyle that made me green with junk-envy. I sooo want to be junking and creating all the time! To make myself feel better, I decided that I should "pick" an old shed that is on our property. Now mind you, I have lived here 17 years and not set foot in most parts of it. The shed was used as a barn when my husbands' great-grandparents lived here, and it is probably going to breathe its' last breath soon.



We proceeded in and here is our haul for the evening. Not a bad bunch of stuff for one evening.

The first thing I dragged out was this old plow handle. It looks neat propped up against my irises.



This is everything we hauled out today. I have a hard time deciding what my favorite item is.
