This is Halloween!

I love it when October 1st rolls around and it is time to bring out the bins of Halloween and fall decorations! One of my favorite decoration is this basket of black cats I made a few years ago. I made them out of muslin and painted them black.

I also whipped up this little display of dried Zebra Grass from my gardens, the basket of kitties, and some witches brooms I bought at the grocery store a few years ago for $1 after the season. I stuffed them in a wooden bucket that I picked from our shed a few months ago -

I redecorated the table on the porch. I put the skull and hat in a garage sale vase and the painting (by ME!) is on a thrift shop easel with a little bling..

I love vintage paper and decorations so when I found this bucket at the fabric store I had to have it. I stuffed it with fall floral and it is on the front door.

This is my newest addition to my collection. I got it at the Wild Wind Festival in Pittsfield, PA. We have been going to this festival for years - our Mom and Grandma used to take us when we were young and it was in a field, on a hill...you get the picture. It is now a juried festival with many talented and amazing artisans.

I filled the box up with leaves, gourds, and some lights I had. Love it! Now we have to get started on planning our costumes for the holiday!
