Off with your...

TV! Yes, when I got home from work today I decided that I was not going to watch television. I waste entirely too much time analyzing crime scenes, guessing the million-dollar word, and counting the number of bleeps within one hour of an MTV show. (By the way - doesn't anyone make videos anymore? The best years of my life were spent anticipating Friday Night Videos at my friends' house..)



I had the house to myself tonight so I spent some time cooking ahead - makes my week easier - and of course hanging out with my beloved Facebook. It's 8:30 and I haven't turned on the tube. I plan to spend the remainder of my evening with my sister practicing our Spanish and finishing up a pair of mittens that I have been working on.

Before I sign off, you will notice that I changed up the lists on the right side of the BensonStreet Blog. I added a 2011 Book Bonanza List. These are the books that I have read this year. I plan to continue this list throughout 2011. My book tastes vary greatly as you will see as my list expands.
